Pro Car Custom Engine Building Packages

Pro Car offers the focused racing team or street performance enthusiast several choices to meet their powerplant needs. We utilize the proven concept of “Know What it Flows” – in short, we build our engines around the flow capabilities of the head, then match it to the car’s nominal gear ratio. Regardless of the type of car or the type of racing, the 40-plus years of winning performance and prototyping has given us insights into producing engines which deliver exceptional power and efficiency. General Motors, Ford, Chrysler and some import engines.

We also provide building/rebuilding/restoration services for nostalgia drag racing engines

CRATE PLUS ENGINE PACKS

Taking the Crate Engine.......a step beyond!

Pro Car Associates has been involved with many engine development projects with the GM Performance Parts organization of General Motors over the years. This experience is now becoming available to you.

Why "Crate-PLUS" engines?

At Pro Car, we believe in matching the base crate engine to your specific application and providing the intake and tuned fuel delivery system that meshes with your car or truck, and your performance expectations.

Pro Car will be focusing upon the GM LS-series initially, since we believe current technology-based small- and big-block crate engines will allow us to provide our customers with the best value.

Why LS-series focus?

• EFI/COP electronic ignition systems provide the customer with great drivability and performance over the longest period of time.
• Matching the engine's tune package to the vehicle's weight, transmission and final drive gearing, plus the intended use, the customer receives a package which will meet expectations.

• Yes, if that is the customer's desire. And as with electronic engines, we'll provide the proper sized carburetor/intake package for the heads, cam, gearing, vehicle weight and the intended use. 

• Yes, Pro Car will break the engine in on our engine dyno, and provide you with the dyno spec sheet with the engine.
• We recommend bringing the car or truck to our shop to have it installed, and run on our Dyno Dynamics 450DS chassis dyno to establish a base-line tune up which is matched to your vehicle.

ENGINE MANAGEMENT

Pro Car Associates offers customers cutting edge electronic engine and powertrain management systems to deliver the highest levels of power, torque and overall efficiency.

We are highly focused upon today's electronic automotive management systems. We are dealers and tuners for the industry leaders: BigStuff3 and F.A.S.T systems. Our engine dynamometer and chassis dynamometer allow us to test each installation to meet our high standards and your expectations.

When you purchase an Engine/Powertrain Management System from Pro Car, you get much more than the product! We provide a general tuning session - free of charge - at our shop. Additionally you receive continued technical support built upon years of engineering experience in electronic engine management and automotive performance development. 

TUNING

• With our high volume of appointments we require a $150.00 deposit to maintain your appointment.
• Deposit is applied to the cost of your appointment. 
• 24 hour notice is needed for cancellation or rescheduling. 
• No notice of cancellation or rescheduling will result in no returned deposit.

Pro Car Associates can provide you for any of your Forced induction needs; From Nitrous refills to kits, Turbo chargers to custom turbo kits, Superchargers and even routine maintenance!
